Program Comparison Within the Polar Bear organization, there are two different programs available for kids to participate: "Travel A and "Tier". Each provides an intentionally different emphasis, in order to address the different needs and interests of players in the program.
Travel Program Emphasis To provide a balance of skill development and competition for Polar Bear players at the “A” level of USA Hockey. This program begins the process of building competitive awareness within our players and teams. Players selected receive a solid practice program plus the opportunity to participate in a highly competitive league made up of other travel clubs throughout Arizona and for some age groups national competition.
Tier Program Emphasis To extend the strong foundation provided by the Travel Program and to provide Polar Bear players the highest possible developmental and competitive learning experience at a State, Regional, and National level.
